We are currently looking for a Senior Technical Project Manager to join our team on a full-time basis. As Senior Project Manager, you will manage our client relationships, take an overview of the projects team, take the lead to drive forward our on-site operational policies (including health and safety), and work closely with the Director and senior management team to ensure events are delivered on time, within budget, and meet clients’ needs and expectations.
You are a dynamic and well-organised person with an all-round knowledge of Event Production/AV equipment enabling you to produce specifications for a broad range of briefs and requirements. You have experience of working in a technical event environment and the specialist knowledge it entails. Dividing your time between the office and event venues, you should be well versed in live events with knowledge of technical systems to create accurate specifications.

Our clients often take creative input from us, so a keen eye for current trends across furniture, theming and decoration is also needed.
As Senior Project Manager you will take an overview of our clients and total workload, managing relationships with them as well as leading a team of technicians and other contractors on-site to deliver events on time and smoothly.

You will be supported by our Head of technical, Operations Manager and Director to enable you to get the right equipment to the right place at the right time and develop creative solutions to challenging briefs.

You will be proactive and ensure your work supports the company’s needs. We are a small, close-knit team that works to help each other across our roles.

This can include assisting with day to day tasks such as covering the phones, organising dry hires, ordering office supplies and assisting with other team members’ events.

Day to days task can include:

Manage and grow client relationships.
Attend client meetings and site visits to take briefs and collect knowledgeable site survey data.
Produce quotations for clients with accurate technical specifications.
Manage and report on budgets.
Attend events on site and manage their delivery
Assist other team members with their events
Ensure your event portfolio is within budget and invoiced in good time.
Have input into Capex and stock holding.
Produce event schedule documents including supporting plans and H&S documents including Safe Systems of Work
Liaise with external suppliers to ensure the best pricing and manage them on site.
Assist with day to day office operations including but not limited to answering the phone, and taking dry hire enquiries.
Ad-hoc purchasing for specific job needs and requirements
Review and revise on-site procedures and lead their implementation.
You will need to be computer literate with strong Microsoft Office skills. Our Hire/stock control system Hiretrack NX will be a piece of software you use regularly; training will be provided if you are not already familiar with this system.

You will be encouraged to develop and review our current working practices to help improve both the working environment and the productivity of the team.
A flexible work ethic is required due to the nature of the events industry. The pending workload will determine your working day and some evening and weekend work will be a prerequisite.

You will be based at our West Norwood office with on-site work at events venues when necessary.
To be considered for this role you must have experience working for an AV/Technical production company or agency.
