We were approached by Planet Fashion and asked to fully deign and create a bespoke runway and backdrop for a fashion show being hosted at the luxurious Fairmont Monte Carlo hotel in Monaco, along with marquee build for the changing rooms and make up area, and full PA and lighting package. The client was insistent in their brief on a smart and seamless finish to the runway and this is what was delivered.
The runway itself was custom built and finished in a beautiful white gloss top and complimented with mirrored edging and sides. We then had an impressive 5m wide and 4.5m high LED wall showing content whilst the show was live, along with printed return panels to the side. We then built a large marquee behind the runway area to be used as the fitting rooms for the models and make up area, as well as supplying all the make up tables and mirrors.
On top of this we provided a red carpet entrance area with branded step and repeat wall for photo opportunities which also helped to create a real VIP feel as guests arrived.
From a technical point of view, on top of the LED wall, we also provided a large PA system to fill the outside area where the show was being held, including a DJ set up, and a lighting package to help light the runway and models without casting shadows on their faces for those picture perfect shots.
